Story Times and Movies at the park

I've been taking the kids to story times these past weeks because they are on a track break. We really enjoy spending time together listening to some great stories and winning some great prizes. But most of all, we enjoy meeting some of our favorite cartoon characters at the square.

we had a chance to meet with Blues Clues. The kids were crowding Blues Clues that we can't really see his face. Everyone got a chance to give him a hug before he reads us a story.

We had a chance to go on a little parade with Blues Clues while Mr.T juggling around and showing off his acrobatic skills.

Putri was so ecstatic to meet with her favorite character. Yes, Putri is a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake.

Melati, too, loves Strawberry Shortcake. Melati gave her a really big hug.

Barney was there too to read us some fun stories

We watched a movie at the park. The movie started at sundown, so we brought our dinner and had a picnic in the park while waiting for the movie to start.

They played princess and the Frog that night. Melati covered up herself with her winnie the Pooh blankie watching the whole movie seriously.

while Jonas and I snuggled and laid down on the grass watching and wishing upon the stars instead of watching the movie. We indeed had so much fun enjoying our togetherness as a family.
