Putri's Field Trip

I Chaperoned for Putri's class yesterday to the Spring Preserve, and Boy....did we have fun!!
We rode the school bus together and had so much fun in the bus playing some silly games and singing some silly songs.

This is Putri's group that I chaperoned. from left to right, Lee, Ayman, Joshua, Jassele, and Putri. I love my group because they are well behaved kids. They listened to what I instruct them to do and they answered every question correctly because they paid attention to their surroundings and obey all the rules.

Putri and her friends exploring this hands on educational tour trying to answer some questions from the scavenger hunt.

They worked and got along very well together.

and also Have fun together....

While waiting to go inside the exhibit of ORIGEN EXPERIENCE, our silly group kept spinning this giant ball of rock for fun.

Putri and Jassele, the two girls in the group.

Watching attentively how erosion happened

We visited the Native American Village, the Paiutes. We learned about how they build their houses known as the Wikieups and how they kept themselves warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

In this really cool exhibit, the students learned how rains cause a flash flood in our desert. There was an actual sound of thunder and an actual Flash flood running down the hill (Notice there is a gush of water running down).

Waiting for the School Bus to pick us up after we ate our lunch, Ayman asked the boys to pose like this. aren't they cute...

Later that day, all the kids in my group wrote me a thank you note for chaperoning and for the fun time that they had, but mostly they thanked me for the snacks and the life saver gummies that I provide for them. It was such a nice day to be out with Putri and her friends while learning about our amazing desert that we live in.
