Wijayas World: Having Fun Out of Town

This week was our wedding anniversary week. We usually go to the Temple on our anniversary to do a session and a sealing, but this time we went to the temple to do baptism for the dead. We had so much fun at the Temple serving the Lord by being baptized for and behalf of those people who have passed. There was such a beautiful feeling as I walked into the baptismal font and having Hendra baptized me for those who have passed. It felt alot like when we were in the student ward doing baptism for the dead with all the other students. I was so glad that I had a chance to do the baptism, it brought back so many good memories and so humbled by the experience.

The next day, we went on our trip to Ramona, CA. We stayed there for one week and celebrated my birthday and our anniversary there. Hendra and the kids bought me a number 3 and a number 2 birthday candles to go on top of the brownies that we baked. Seriously, do they have to remind me that I am that old with those numbered candles??!!

Getting kisses from my three wonderful kids on my birthday made this day even more special.

Got special treatment from Hendra, he was cooking my favorite Shrimp Scampi for me.
What a wonderful day....I felt so special!!

Later that day, we went up to Mulholand drive in Los Angeles where we could see the view of the City of Los Angeles from up there. We could also see the Hollywood sign up close.

It was one sunny day in LA. Hendra trying to pose with the Hollywood sign in the background, but couldn't really look at the camera because it was too sunny.

We met Yoda at Hollywood Blvd. Jonas and Putri just ran to him and posing with him. But Melati didn't even want to come close to him. She was too scared of Yoda.
