What do you do with kids that are off from school for 5 weeks??

Yes, that's right. we put them to work!! here is some pictures of the kids working together from cleaning, doing laundry, and cooking. Boy...were they very helpful.
It was a win win situation. I was happy because the kids were very helpful and kids were happy too because they could get their hands on the food making process. This video assure you that this wasn't child labor...they actually love helping ..... sometimes a bit too helpful.

But Melati likes to keep her bed nice and tidy on her own. I didn't tell her to make her bed, she'd just do it on her own. For some reasons, she is obsessed with her bed being tidy. No one could come near her bed because she would yell "get off my bed!!" and she would start tidying up again.
Melati fell in love with Dr.Seuss during Spring break and she loves reading (pretend reading I say) all Dr. Seuss books.
Putri has been helping Melati practicing her testimony during our Family Home Evening so she can bear her testimony in Sacrament meeting. Putri did a really good job helping her practicing because last fast Sunday Melati did bear her testimony on her own without any help from anybody. We're so proud of her.

Track break also is the best time to take the kids for their check ups. This pictures was taken at their dentist office. Jonas and Putri (Putri not pictured, she was the one taking the picture) did very well on their cleanings. While Melati, as usual, gagged and then puked while they were cleaning her teeth. She puked all over her chair and her clothes. The nurses got busy cleaning her pukes off of her and the chair...boy it was one embarassing moment. I had to take off her clothes, there's no way she could keep her clothes on it was just too nasty. Good thing Melati had her tank tops inside her shirt. So she was left with her tank tops and her panties, but she was too embarrased to come out without her skirts on. So we decided to put some towel paper around her waist and we tucked the towel paper in her panties creating a mini skirt look....smart huh??

We also took the kids to the park for some fun. We all love being in the park and enjoying the beautiful weather which won't last a long time.

We spent most of our evenings outside. Hendra loves riding scooter with the kids. Sometimes he fights over the scooter with the kids... and they ended up riding together. Hendra loves playing with the kids and lots of times he becomes one of the kids...no kidding....but we all love the inner child in him.

We ran a 5K marathon at the Stake Track and Meet. If it weren't for the kids who were riding their scooters, we wouldn't be running as fast trying to catch up with them.

Before the break ended, we took them to Adventure Dome and had a blast riding all the kiddie rides. I tell you....these kids couldn't get enough of it.

We were invited to attend a banquet that was held by American National, the company that Hendra works for. Little did we know that Hendra was honored as The Agent of The Year and they asked him to give a speech, which he wasn't prepared to. But Hendra did give his speech and I was so proud of him and grateful for him and everything he's done for our family. He works so hard for it and We're very proud of him and his accomplishments.
